Hi I'm Micah

I live in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania. I know God never gives us more than we can handle. God has helped me see what matters most.

About Me

I grew up in a small town and lived there my whole life. I love my family and friends; They're always there for me and I thank God for putting all of them in my life. I grew up watching and loving a lot of movies and tv shows. I played ultimate frisbee and floor hockey in high school, both of which were super fun. I love working out (especially if I have my music to listen to). I love listening to music and singing along to my favorite songs. Music is a beautiful and powerful thing. My biggest dream is to be a singer/lyricist one day. Im a little nervous about what work field to go into because I want something that I will have a big chance in succeeding in and also something that I can see myself somewhat enjoying. I know God has and always will provide me with what I need. Trials in life seem like too much for us to handle more times than not, but God's promises are true and we just need to hold onto that and keep on keeping on. The gospel is a huge part of who I am and I'm blessed to be born into this wonderful church. I choose to look at the good because it's something that will help me to be happier. I want to make every happy moment special and worth remembering and overcome every trial with as much trust in God as possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I can see how living the gospel has blessed my family. It has helped us grow closer and have more joy in our lives. I've had a lot of spiritual experiences in this church and I've also seen others in my life who are not Mormon, feel peace from things I've shared with them that I knew to be true. Whenever I face trials or difficult times, I find joy and peace from the knowledge I have and the blessings I've received by living the standards of the church, so I'm very happy when I get the opportunity to share this knowledge and joy with others. I testify that I know that this church is true and i know I've received so many blessings and peace from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I've received so much courage and strength from the many times that my faith has been tested. I also testify of the power of sincere prayer, and I know that if we pray to the Father with all the energy of heart as stated in Moroni 7:48 that we will receive not only strength, but the ability to be more charitable and we will be able to overcome things that we may have thought were impossible at one point or just very unlikely. I also testify of Joseph Smith being the Prophet of the restoration and also of the current prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. I testify of these things, in the name of our Savior & Redeemer, Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I love helping others and participating in service projects whenever I can. I remember for my birthday in 2014, I spent it helping my best friend and his parents move one of their close friends from one apartment to the next. I just love serving others, but sometimes I'm not as easily motivated; I think that's why we all need someone that we look up to and respect, because I found that when I look at the Savior's perfect example, I realize how important it is to serve others as He would. I'm constantly striving to find ways I can become a better person and overcome weaknesses. I'm currently serving a mission right now in the Las Vegas West Mission.
