Hi I'm Kenneth

I was born in the Philippines and grew up in Washington State. I love sports, music, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

If I was born in Ancient Greece, I would've been labeled as a philomath-a lover of learning. My interests range from sports to music, computers to art, sci-fi to history, and even science to religion. I graduated with a degree in political science and I've studied and worked as a paralegal. In my free time I love playing basketball, football, tennis, and jamming on the ukulele with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

One aspect of the gospel of Jesus Christ that I love is that we accept all truth. If it is true, we believe it. In order to know if something is true, we have been taught that we can pray to our Heavenly Father to know the truth, and he will reveal it to us. I've read the Book of Mormon, and I've prayed to know if it was true. My prayer was answered through the Holy Ghost speaking through my heart. Every time that I've had a question about the Church or the Doctrine, I've been able to pray, and I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to follow the example of Jesus Christ. His acts of charity, service, and sacrifice blessed the lives of so many and inspires me to strive to do the same. Many opportunities arise from going to church and church activities--these include service projects, visiting and praying for others, giving of our time to help those in need, and helping the community. This past year, members of our church have come together to help make new parks and beautify existing public parks. It's amazing to see the results that come from so many hands working together.
