Hi I'm James

I'm an avid foodie. I love old movies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm saving up for college right now. I'm pursuing a degree in business management and I'm a Training Sponsor. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading and research.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because I prayed to know the truth and the Holy Ghost revealed it to me. The Spirit testified to me that this church is where I belong and that it is God's kingdom on Earth.

How I live my faith

I'm a volunteer addiction counselor, guest speaker and food bank worker at the Salvation Army. I, along with my best friend, visit several individuals from church monthly to offer them our help and to share an uplifting message with them. My faith influences everything I do, it informs both personal and professional decisions I make every day. I live my faith by striving to be the kind of person the Savior was in His mortal ministry.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

We're not required to serve missions, but we are encouraged to because of the command Christ gave us, as His disciples, to spread the Gospel to all nations. Missionary work is one of many ways we share the many blessings in our lives. Many of us consider it an honor and a privilege to carry on the Savior's ministry by way of missionary service. But it is by no means a requirement. Show more Show less
