Hi I'm Nicole

I'm a Mormon. I've lived in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario as a child.

About Me

I enjoy being physically active and I've tried INSANITY by Shaun T but can't seem to finish the program. I love children but don't have any of my own but I've helped raise many in the years I worked in daycares and as a nanny. I LOVE sushi and all-you-can-eat places. I have weakness for sugary food and junk food but I also love raw veggies. I'm trying to get back into working in childcare, time will tell if I get the job I applied for.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church while dating a member of the church. He wasn't going to church because he wanted to spend time with me so I suggested I go to church with him. It took me a couple years of going to church to talk with the missionaries and get baptized but it's the best thing I could have ever done. I know the Lord loves me and know me personally. He guided me to Manitoba to help my uncle out and to be closer to my extended family. I know when I pray I will be guided on what I should do and how I can help others around me. I know The Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know I can be with my family forever. I love attending the temple and they are all beautiful building dedicated to do the Lord's work here on earth. I love living in a smaller city where we have 4 awesome missionaries.

How I live my faith

I've taught children and youth at church in the past. Right now I plan activities for the singles that are part of the church in my area. I'm also the secretary for the female youth at church. I love the youth and the singles.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Nicole
One thing I love about the church is we help ANYONE. During the flood in 2013 in Calgary and area I was privileged to be able to donate my time and muscles to help some people that were affected by the flood. Every year Calgary and other cities do a food drive where members of the church drop off flyers and bags to homes during the week and on the following Saturday morning we go collect the bags of food donated by the great people of the city and bring them in to the food bank.
