Hi I'm Laura

I am a Natural Horsemanship Trainer .... and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Well hello there! I teach people and horses of all shapes and sizes, to help them all be the best they can be, using a natural perspective on horsemanship. I have been studying this for 7 years, and am on the pathway to become a professional instructor! My passion is in working with youth, and I have hopes of doing emotional therapy through horses. I was home-schooled from 6th grade till my Sophomore year. I spent the last half of high school at a local junior college to get my AA in Physical Education. NOW I'm taking a break from horse-training and the student life to serve an 18 month mission in the Jamaica Kingston Mission!! YAY. I love my family to death. I grew up in California with my parents and two older brothers. We spend a lot of time outdoors doing anything from camping, water sports, snow sports, etc. We love to LAUGH. and our time together is filled with a whole lot of humor. My family has been the best example of love, kindness, being service minded, and being happy. I love God, my family, people, horses, music, being outdoors, doing anything fun, crazy, or adventurous, LIFE, and being as happy as I possibly can!

Why I am a Mormon

First off, I love being a Mormon! The thing I love about being a Mormon is how happy it has allowed me to be and the light that fills my life every single day. The knowledge that I am God's daughter, that Heavenly Father knows and loves you and me perfectly, and that I can be with my family forever is the biggest blessing in my life. Following Jesus Christ's example has filled my life with peace in this crazy world, strengthened my family and our relationship, and given me true principles to pattern my life after. I am eternally grateful for Jesus Christ. I know that He lived to so that we could change and become the best we can be. He wants us to be our happiest and become all that we have the potential to be.

How I live my faith

Before serving my mission I was apart of the student congregation (for members ages 18-30) in my home town in California. It was so much fun! I served as the pianist, which means I played for the congregation for our sacrament meeting. I also was blessed to have the opportunity to serve in leadership for the women in the branch. This included planning, teaching and getting to know the amazing women of the church!
