Hi I'm Kendra

I grew up in Idaho. I'm a freshman in college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman in college and am still unsure about what I want to major in. Maybe nursing, maybe accounting, maybe international studies. My family contains six people, I have two older sisters and one younger brother. I became an aunt in August and I am loving it. I took fifteen years of ballet, and several years of tap, clogging, and zumba. I really value education and look forward to continuing my education. I have been called to serve a mission in Argentina and Paraguay! I look forward to learning Spanish and teaching the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

When I pray to my Heavenly Father I feel closer to him. He knows me individually and is always there for me. I want to live with him and my family forever. Through the Plan of Salvation I can live with them forever after this life. I am able to repent of my sins and draw closer to Christ. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know Thomas S. Monson is the prophet of God's church today and that he receives revelation from our Father in Heaven. We also can receive personal revelation from the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I am serving a mission in February to serve our loving Heavenly Father and his children in Argentina and Paraguay. This means I get to share what I believe and love with others in this area. I am currently a branch missionary, meaning I get to coordinate with the area missionaries to teach people in the area. I also get to participate in a speaking partner program, which means I help someone who is trying trying to learn English. I pray to my Heavenly Father everyday, read the scriptures, and attend church meetings.
