Hi I'm Ian Campbell

I live in Canada. I go to high school. I'm an author. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Canada. I go to high school. My favourite subject is music in which I play the French horn. I love astronomy and medicine and hope to become a anatomical pathologist.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I was baptized when I was eight and received the priesthood when I was 12. I love the gospel. It makes so much sense to me compared to the other churches. I have also prayed and received a strong testimony that this church is true, the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph a Smith was a prophet.

How I live my faith

I go to young men's on Sunday and we learning about the priesthood and about our duty to God. I also participate in an early morning class called Seminary. This year we are learning about The Old Testament. I try to share the gospel to anyone who is interested.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Ian Campbell
We believe that Jesus Christ is the literal son of God. He was the creator of our universe, He is the Savior of the world and He will be our judge. By instruction from out Heavenly father, He created the Earth. When Jesus lived on the earth, He led a perfect life. He taught how to love God and our fellow men. Through His suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane and dying on the cross, He performed the atonement. Through this atonement, if you repent sincerely, your sins will be forgiven. Through his Resurrection, Jesus saved us from death. Because He overcame death, so can we. He gave us the gift of resurrection, that our spirits will be eternally reunited with our bodies. When the final judgment happens, Christ will be the final Judge. Show more Show less
