Hi I'm Jacob Lee Harrod

I'm a Mormon, and I am currently serving as a Missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints, and Loving it!

About Me

Well hello, things about me :) I love to grow gardens with all kinds of vegies, my favorite things to grow are pumpkins and zucchini. I love to try and grow new and weird things, I enjoy most every thing that grows on this earth. I also love growing flowers, my favorite flower would have to be the rose, partially because while going up my mom had twenty plus rose bushes in the front yard, I love trimming them up and making them look nice and just all around tending to them, I love how they have a beautiful flower and then thorny vines to protect the precious flower. I also love to go hiking in the mountains and to see all the wild life and along with that I love to photograph the scenery as well, and I guess that's me :)

Why I am a Mormon

Oh, the big Why question :D well my reason for being a Mormon is simple, at least to me, and that is because through out my life as I have lived the teachings of the Mormon faith I have been blessed in my life with happiness and the courage to do things I may not have thought I could have other wise. One thing about me is I like to test things to see whether or not they actually make a difference in my life so by being I guess a little rebellious I've come to know that prayer is heard by God and that he answers those prayers at the times in our lives that will benefit us the most, and that as we read the scriptures and strive to live by them and to study, ponder, and pray about them that we all can come to know for ourselves that they are the words of God and that as we read them that we will grow closer to him and in return he will bless us with more blessings than we could ever hope to receive :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping out in the community whether it be visiting the elderly, or doing service such as highway clean up or removing fallen tree branches out of the road, and by always striving to be an example to my family, friends and all those that I come in contact with.
