Hi I'm Sydney Morse

I love spending time with my family and reading and singing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love reading do much! I love music and singing. Swimming is the best sport ever and I did that for 4 years in High school. I am going to study to be a nurse after the mission and already have my CNA license. Spending time with my family is my favorite thing to do. My family is so important to me and I am the second oldest of six children. They helped shape me into who I am today and I couldn't be more grateful that I am part of their lives and that they are part of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Church. However, just like anyone else that is learning about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I had to become converted to the Gospel. my conversion process never ends. Becoming converted I have recently learned, means consistently living and putting to practice what I've learned. I learn something new about this gospel every day and it just gets better and better. Through the teachings of the prophets and apostles, either from prophets in the scriptures or prophets from these latter days, I can always find answers to my questions. There is always something to soothe my troubled soul, or satisfy my curiosity, or help me with simple, everyday challenges in my life. The Lord is always there for me personally because he does know me. I am his daughter and he is My Heavenly father. His son and my brother Jesus Christ does know everything that I have ever gone through, am now going through, and ever will go through. Not just the bad times, but the good times. He knows exactly how to help me. One of the best things about this gospel, is that it enables me to be with my family for time and all eternity. I can't thing of a greater blessing than that.

How I live my faith

I love Sundays. They are like a spiritual rejuvenation. I especially loved teaching the children in primary! I had a calling to teach all of the 4 and 5 year-olds, and I absolutely loved it. Little children are so amazing! They have such a willingness to learn and answer questions, and it is so refreshing to be with them for a couple hours every Sunday.
