Hi I'm Austin Brewer

I'm a young man who grew up in Utah, an Eagle Scout, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, I'm currently 18 years of age, and I'm preparing to serve a full time mission. Although, if you are reading this, I may already be serving in the Tallahassee, Florida mission. I live in a family of 6, including me, with me being the oldest of the 4 children. Our family loves to play soccer, and have traveled to different states for different opportunities to play with others from around the globe. I also enjoy different aspects of digital arts, 3D graphics in particular. I have been looking forward to turning my talents as a 3D artist into a career, but my mission to serve our Father in Heaven is much more important to me.

Why I am a Mormon

People may wonder why a young man, or young lady, with a vast number of opportunities at their feet, would decide to put their live on hold to serve a mission; away from their homes, their friends and family, and at their expense. When a missionary decides to serve a mission, it is of a pure desire to serve others. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gives these young men and women something that they can't achieve anywhere else. If you are confronted by one of these missionaries, it is because they want to share something with you that means the world to them. I am a Mormon because this church, and its people, holds a special place in my heart; and I know the teachings it holds to be true.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church, I have had the example to watch friends become baptized, or receive the restored priesthood. As I grew older, It was a privilege to me to take my turn in leading by example for my friends and family, so that they could take the steps to return to our Father in Heaven. As of lately, I have been preparing to serve a full time mission. As I have taken the steps to do so, I have noticed some of my younger cousins develop a desire to serve that that didn't have previously. Whether we know it or not, our actions are being observed by others; whether they be good, or bad. I hope that I can continue to lead by example, both now, and after my mission.
