Hi I'm Emma Aldridge

I grew up in Southern California. I love to dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a freshman at Brigham Young University and loving it! I love furthering my education and getting to know new people every day. When I was in high school I was the captain of the colorguard team and was very blessed to be able to lead them to World Championships. I love to dance and express my emotions through movement. I volunteered as a coach for Special Olympics and I love to connect with others . There are 10 people in my family and I love each and every one of them with every fiber of my being.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon all my life. Both my parents have been members all my life, though my dad didn't join until he was 17. I didn't have to find this gospel for myself, but I do choose whether I will live by it every single day. I see the Lord's hand in my life all the time and in some of the most minute moments. I've definitely had my ups and downs when it comes to my strength and conversion to the gospel. But because of those doubtful and weak moments, I have found out what it truly feels like to have a strong testimony of this gospel and its teachings. I find that my testimony is strongest when I am sharing it with others. I know that my life would not be the same without Heavenly Father's constant involvement in it. And I know that God loves me right now. No matter what I've done, what I'm doing, or what I will do. He loves me right now. Nothing will change that. I choose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know it makes me a happier and better person.

How I live my faith

I am very much a people person and I feel most involved in my ward when I am becoming closer to those around me. I am currently on the activities committee and blessed to be able to get to know the women in my ward through the activities I help plan. I love talking to people and hearing about what makes them passionate or about what is bothering them. I feel like everybody could use somebody to just listen to them and I love filling that role. I love to make people feel like they are important and I love being somebody people know they can talk to.
