Hi I'm Cameo Goodson

I grew up in California. I love singing. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Bountiful, UT and moved to Yucaipa, CA when I was 14 years old. I found a passion for theatre and performing there and also joined the high school marching band in hopes to use my talents wisely. I graduated high school there and then attended BYU Idaho, where I continued developing my passion and technique in vocal performance with a minor in theater. After I graduated, I moved back to Yucaipa and worked as a substitute teacher and voice teacher. I recently moved and hope for a grand adventure.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church, so I'd never known different. I had many times as a teen where I questioned what I had been taught and why certain things happened, especially after my sister Meagan died. My faith in God was questioned when I lost my sister, but through my faith I knew I could see my sister again and I was not alone in my struggles. As the years have gone by, my testimony has strengthened through my trials and tribulations. I am so grateful for the gospel and it's never ending strength. I also recently just attended the temple to receive my endowments and it was such an amazing experience. Each time I go, I feel peace that I can find nowhere else.

How I live my faith

I enjoyed teaching the kids in our church about Christ and his love for them. They would learn so much and surprise me with the amazing answers they remembered from previous lessons. I also have been able to share my testimony with others through my talents as a performer. It has led to me to be able to use the talents God gave me to further his work through missionary opportunities and touching people with music that just words can't explain.
