Hi I'm Zachary

I have 4 older sisters. My parents are divorced and I am preparing to serve a fulltime mission. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 5 siblings and they all happen to be older sisters. My parents divorced when I was one. Through out middle school and High school i enjoyed riding dirt bikes and quads. I enjoy running and playing sports. Because of my four older sisters I care about what I am wearing and how I look more then I should. I am preparing to leave my girlfriend behind in preparation to serve a full time mission for two years in the city of Joao Pessoa.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because i simply know that this gospel is true. It has saved me and friends from continual transgressions. i fight to continually strive to be better and follow my lord Jesus Christ through everything that gets in the way. I know that this church is true and that our prophet Thomas S. Monson has direct revelation from god. I testify that Joseph Smith translated the book of mormon correctly and did see angels to find the gold plates. I testify that this book of mormon which we hold sacred is true and that it can change lives and work miracles just like it has changed my life. We all get caught up in sin and believe that there is no way to overcome some of these addictions but I promise that I am living proof that there is a way out and Jesus Christ our savior is that light at the end of the tunnel. He is calling our name to lead us home and when we arrive it will be such a glorious feeling we will question why we did not listen earlier. The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, the second best time is now. There was no time for me to wait to follow the lord, I should have been righteous years ago but i had to act now and repent of the past and forgive myself.

How I live my faith

I participate in my ward by participating actively in my youth groups. I am very open to doing service for anyone who needs it and the local missionaries near me very often call me when they need help with something or need a ride. My calling was 1st assistant to the bishop which meant that I was supposed to make sure my quorum of young men ranging from 16-18 were under my hand and I was supposed to watch and take care of them. I was the leader and kept everyone on schedule and under control. I live my faith this way as well by showing people my standards out in the open world. Not everyone agrees with our standards but they respect what we stand for and how we have unwavering faith to such ideas.
