Hi I'm Emily

I grew up in Utah. I'm a high school graduate. I'm a tennis player. I'm a Daughter, Sister, Friend. And i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the beautiful state of Utah. I love it here. I have a Mother and a Father, and 2 sisters. I graduated from high school in May 2014. While I was in high school, I played tennis for four years. I also love to read. I plan on going to college and majoring in English with an emphasis in Elementary Education. I have a love for teaching and want to make it apart of my occupation. I love hanging out with my friends and go shopping. I also love the color pink and just having fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a household that believed in the Church of Jesus of Latter Day Saints my whole life. My parents were both raised in LDS Households and i've always had that in my life. At first, I would go to the LDS Church because my parents would always take me. But when I was about 16 and I was getting older and in a couple of years I would be moving out, I needed to know for myself if I wanted to be a part of the LDS Church anymore. I needed to gain my own answer if I wanted to stay or not. One night, I prayed to my Father in Heaven to give me an answer as to if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the correct and true church. I instantly felt a rush of warmth and peace. I instantly recognized it as the Holy Ghost. I knew in that instant that the church was true. I'm grateful every day that I realized that the LDS Church is the most true and pure thing in this world. I feel so much peace and love with this church with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending ward activities whenever I can. I love getting with my ward family and learning more about each other. I love the youth groups that the LDS Church has. I've served in these youth groups as a 1st and 2nd councilor. As I learn and grow with my ward and the youth groups, I get a really strong spiritual foundation that I can go from day to day with. I love meeting new people in my ward and community.
