Hi I'm Jhonny

I grew up in Venezuela. I was the first in my family to graduate from high school. I'm a mormon

About Me

I'm Jhonny, I love working out. I also like to spend time with my family. I love playing sports. I recently graduated from high school. I have worked with kids in sports and in tutoring and helped them gain a stronger confidence in themselves as they learned athletic and sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because at the age of 7 I was diagnosed with T-cell cancer. While I was in the hospital I saw the missionaries with my parents praying so that I would be able to recover. After a year of chemotherapy I recovered from the cancer. So after a couple lessons with the missionaries I got baptized. Now that I'm older I look back and see that I was never scared, my heart was always calm and happy. I have stayed in this gospel because I have had the opportunity to go out with the missionaries and do some of there work with them and the love and friendship and happiness that I encountered ten years ago wasn't a fluke. These were different missionaries but when we visited families the love and strength they exposed was so heart warming that you could feel safe and happy no matter where you were. I love this gospel, I know that my heavenly father puts us in different difficult trials but he never abandon us. He protects and loves us no matter what we have done or gone through. In the end we are all his sons and daughters. Everything he does in our lifes has a purpose and a meaning to guide us to draw closer to him and so we can return with him. We are all imperfect but our imperfection is our greatest strength to be on our knees and say a prayer that we cry to god and tell him that we are imperfect but that we love him and let him guide us. In the end of that prayer theres only tears of joy and of hope.

How I live my faith

I help with the kids at my church by helping them out with car washes. I also help my community by picking up trash in parks. I also go to the homes of the kids and check on how they are doing. I go visit the kids who are sick and I spend time with them and I will have prayers with them so they can heal and get better.
