Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to have new and fulfilling adventures in my life! I grew up in an amazing home with a caring family. I was able to serve a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints overseas (Russia and Ireland). When I came home from my service I went to school to become a doctor. Well I had the opportunity after receiving my bachelors degree to work for a nonprofit (non medical related). This nonprofit organization offered me a position to develop and manage occupational safety training programs... I loved it!!! It gave me the opportunity to help and support others in my community. So in the past years I have worked in the largest copper mine in the world and now in the oil and gas industry. I main priority is to help my fellow colleagues go home to their families each day. I have a great life :)

Why I am a Mormon

This church has blessed my life in so many ways. The things I have accomplished thus far in my life are due to the principles taught to me as a child from my parents. The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us to be kind, loving, understanding, patient, and courageous (and many more things). My father use to tell me as a child "Are you a leader or a follower"? This was a great lesson for me... What he was really asking me was "i am I going to follow the Savior's example or not"? This church has given me numerous opportunities to step up and be a leader by serving and loving those around me. I am so grateful for the gospel and how it has blessed my life. I know that this is the Lords church and he is guideing it with a true prophet in our day. I know the priesthood has been restored in our time to bless all of God's children. The way I know it to be true is by the Holy Spirit testifying it to me in humble prayer.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every single day. I pray with my wife each evening for ways I can become a better person. The Savior spent each day of his life helping and loving those in need. I hope to become more like him. I know many individuals in this world are looking for opportunities to come closer to the Savior and I believe I have a choice to act or not to act. I pray that I am listening to the spirit to guide me in ways to love and support those individuals searching for the type of happiness the gospel provides.
