Hi I'm Dylan

I work in an airline. I serve in a local youth group. I have the best parents, wife and kids in the world. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love being part of big families. I am the oldest of 5 children and my wife and I have 4 children under 7. I like spending time with my family and laughing, playing games and helping one another. My parents were great examples to me of service, sacrifice and respect to others and I try and live my life based on the principles I was taught at home and at church. I have the best wife in the world. She's amazing and I feel like I've won the lottery every day. I work in the airline industry and love the fast paced nature of it.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon provides me with a great foundation to live a happy life. There's some great principles around having a happy family and living a life that I can be proud of and find meaning in. It helps me understand where happiness can be found and how putting faith and trust in Christ can bless my life and the lives of others. I feel the Spirit here and this Spirit teaches me that I am a child of God, that He loves me, plays a role in my life and sees my potential. I believe that there is life after death and that everyone will live again. This church helps me feel love and happiness in a world that is increasingly selfish and negative. As a father of 4 children I feel that the principles taught at church help me to raise my children to lead healthy, happy lives. I am able to learn how to teach them that God is real and how to follow Him. In today's society, I think that's great.

How I live my faith

I love to help others and my faith gives me opportunities to reach out to others. As we don't have a paid ministry in our faith there are opportunities to help others when they are having hard times, need answers in life, a friend, someone to listen, or someone to help guide them through a difficult situation they are having. Serving with others at church and interacting with people from different backgrounds provides opportunities with service opportunities when they come. As part of my responsibilities at church, I spend time interacting with the 12-18 year olds. We've got some great kids, who have great personalities and who teach me a lot. I also love to help others who may be in a tough situation and as a church we're here to support one another and not to judge. I find that I learn about myself as I'm helping others.
