Hi I'm Kenzie

Animals and outdoor adventures are my thing. Exercise Science nerd. Division 1 Athlete. Mormon.

About Me

Sports and the outdoors are my life. I have played sports since I was a young child. I love snowboarding and playing basketball with friends. I am currently competing on a Division 1 track team and majoring in Exercise Science. I love travel and helping other people. My senior year of high school I participated in a service trip to San Lorenzo, Guatemala. It was a great experience. It really helped me to realize the value of all the privileges I'm afforded. It was a very small service in terms of the big scheme of things and I plan to do more in the future. I want to make a significant positive difference in the lives of others. I want the world to be a better place by my being here. I want my impact to be one of change and positivity. I want people to remember me as one who made a difference.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the happiness it brings me. Really it's as simple as that. God's plan is a plan of happiness. God loves each of us and knows us on a personal level. All he wants is for us to attain that level of happiness that comes with being obedient to his commandments. Being involved in this church has brought a sense of peace and understanding to me that I could not find anywhere else. It is because of my belief in this truth that I am the person I am today and I am grateful for that.

How I live my faith

As for my faith, I find it most beneficial to integrate it into my daily life. This may mean different things depending on who I'm interacting with or the situation I'm in. It could be as simple as a smile or a conversation. I strive to always be looking for someone I could help.
