Hi I'm Jessie Alva

I'm Mormon. I grew up in Nevada. I'm eighteen years old and I'm an Active duty soldier in the U.S. Army. I love the gospel!

About Me

I was born and raised in Nevada. I have four brothers and four sisters. I love to sing and listen to music. I don't know what I would do without the gospel in my life. I'm currently in the U.S Army, and I really love it. The Army and the church have similar values and standards so its easy to stay on the straight and narrow. I love to play sports and be active. I love reading and learning new things. I would like to go to college and get my bachelors in phycology and physiology. I'm funny and outgoing all the time, I try to make people laugh as much as possible. I love my Heavenly Father and the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

If there was one thing I would want to tell people about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that it has brought unlimited happiness to my life and I want others to feel the happiness that I have felt. I feel that being LDS has helped me through any struggle or trial I have had in life. Whenever I need anything I know that the church is here, the gospel, and my Heavenly Father. It's an amazing feeling of complete peace.

How I live my faith

I think the biggest way I live my faith is through service. Service to my fellow man, my Heavenly Father, and my country. I know that this church is true and I try to live like I believe. Keeping the commandments, reading the scriptures, praying, showing others how Heavenly Father wants us to be. I try to get others to come to church with me all the time, I want peoples faith to keep growing.
