Hi I'm Scott

I am a naval pilot living abroad with my family, but I grew up in a southern Idaho town where I worked on my grandfathers farm.

About Me

I am one of ten children, a middle child at that. I have always loved camping, the outdoors and working with my hands. My hobbies include nearly all outdoor sports, but now I spend most of my free time doing simple things with my wife and children. I studied mechanical engineering in college but I am now a pilot. I love flying and have been blessed to visit many countries around the world because of my work.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in the church I wasn't truly converted until I was 27 years old. I was raising my family and had to decide what I wanted to teach my children about God. That simple question, what to teach, led me to study the scriptures, pray, and then to align my life with the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am Mormon because I prayed, received my answer, and have since witnessed the amazing blessings that have followed this simple decision.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to serve many times in the primary and with the youth of my various wards. I currently serve with the young men of my ward, trying to help strengthen, teach, and guide them to become the fathers, leaders and examples they have the potential to become.
