Hi I'm Rebecca Zimmerman

I grew up in Kentucky. I love to read and bake. I am a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest of five children. I am attending college but have yet to declare a major. Math has always been my favorite subject and I plan to incorporate it in my future career somehow. I am preparing to serve a full time mission in the coming year. I love to read, cook, and of course spend time with my friends. If I could travel anywhere I would have to choose England because I love beautiful old buildings!

Why I am a Mormon

Aren't "why" questions always the hardest to answer? This one however is the easiest for me to explain. I love this gospel. I grew up in the church but since leaving home I have chosen to remain faithful and true to all that I was taught as a child. There is so much evidence in my life of our Heavenly Father's love for me and everyone else in the world. I have seen the blessings He has promised me in my life as I follow the teachings of His church. I know the Book of Mormon truly is a testament of Christ and furthers our understanding of what he would have us do. I know that Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet on the earth today and that the words the prophet speaks to us are what He wants us to know in this day. I have spent many days reading the scriptures and praying to come to know that these things are true. Now that I do know I could never deny them. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is more than just attending church every week. I live my faith in my every day life as I strive to find ways to help those around me. Most of the time that consists of making them some sort of sweet treat! I try hard to look for those who need my help and be an example to my younger siblings.
