Hi I'm Regina

I am a wife to my incredibly amazing better half, mother of three beautiful children, a singer, and I'm a Mormon .

About Me

I enjoy singing, reading, and serving others. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband and children. I am married to the most amazing man who truly tries to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I feel very blessed to be able to stay at home with my three precious kids. I homeschool all three children and we have lot's of fun learning and taking many field trips. One of my children has cystic fibrosis and a good part of my day is spent making sure her nebulizers are washed, sterilized, dried, and that she gets two to four breathing treatments every day. Every night we hook her up to her g-tube pump where she receives most of her nutrition. Her first 18 months of life was mostly spent in the hospital. I was struggling with depression & was finding her care to be very difficult. I will forever be grateful for the army of women from the church who came to my daughters rescue. They came twice a day, every day, for almost 2 years to help my daughter with her breathing treatments. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! I love the organization of His church that allows so much service to be done for God's children all over the world, our brothers and sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the greatest experiences of my life was serving a mission. On my mission I learned more of what it means to follow the example of Christ through love, service, and sharing His gospel. During my mission sometimes I would talk with people who would say something like "you seem like a smart girl, why are you a part of this cult?" In my teenage years my father would often tell me why he believed the church was wrong. The additional opposition I had on my mission shook my faith. While attending a missionary meeting the mission president said something I'll never forget. He said that we could hang our entire testimony upon the Book of Mormon. From that day on I started reading the Book of Mormon from an investigator's point of view. What I found was nothing but goodness. It truly is another testament of Jesus Christ and I believe that it is a true book. It is too inspired and too beautiful to have been written by anyone except the Prophets of God that lived long ago. The teachings of the church make sense to me. I believe that the Lord has asked us to build temples just as He asked His Prophets in the bible to build temples. I believe that Christ organized His church while He was on the earth and called 12 Apostles & that same organization with Prophet and Apostles is in the church today. I believe Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God because I believe the Book of Mormon to be true, and I believe that Thomas S. Monson is the Lord's Prophet on the earth today. As I study the scriptures & pray to my Heavenly Father daily, and learn the gospel at church each week it helps me to be a more Christ-like person. I am a better wife, mother, friend, and neighbor because of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is why I believe The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's church.

How I live my faith

I currently am privileged to be working with the young women. I think the teenage years can be a particularly hard and confusing time, especially with all the messages these young people get from the media. I love that I get to teach the young women about our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ, Their plan of happiness for us, the Atonement of Jesus Christ and following the example that Christ has given us, and their precious worth as daughters of God.
