Hi I'm Amélia

I'm French and American, I'm the second of four daughters in my beloved family, I'm a cellist, and I am a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in France and inthe USA surounded by three wonderful sisters - Lydia, Sylvia and Marina - and my loving parents. I grew up in a family of professional musicians, and I myself was drawn to music as I persued serious music studies since a young age and then entered the national conservatory of music in Bordeaux, France. I have always had a close relationship with God. He his my father in heaven, and it is as his daughter that I open up to him and try to draw closer to his love in everything I do. I have found that he is there for me no matter what I do, no matter how lost or worthless I feel. He is my father and I love him.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because God has always been there for me, He has never abandoned me and i know He never will. He has remained by my side and manifested His support through all my trials in life. I know that my Father in Heaven loves me and I love Him. I know that this church is the church of Jesus Christ with the fullness of truth, and that our prophet is called of God. I know that these things are true because I prayed, in other words I spoke to my Heavenly Father openly, and he answered me with a feeling of peace and joy that cannot be faked, and as i draw closer to God, I have felt this more and more. God exists, He loves us, and He answers us. Each of us can know this for ourselves if we ask God sincerely.

How I live my faith

I am a cellist and I have found that music can be a powerful tool to communicate God's love for his children and to inspire hope in the hearts of those who listen. I have also directed a children's choir at church every sunday where they had a chance to experience how music can be an uplifting influence and a strength for them in their lives. And I am now preparing to serve as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints for 18 months.
