Hi I'm Katie

I grew up in Yorkshire and then moved to Nottingham to study at university. I want to become a primary school teacher. I am Mormon

About Me

I am a university student studying Education Studies and Early Years in Nottingham. I enjoy working with children and being creative. In my spare time I like to draw and dance. in the future I would like to become a primary school teacher or work with under privileged children. I am a Mormon and I love my religion.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptised in July 2013, my friends invited me to church activities and I enjoyed hanging out with people my own age in a friendly atmosphere. It took three years but then the missionaries taught me about the gospel and the church and I was baptised and confirmed a member of the church. I came to know the church was true by praying and asking if the things I was being taught were true in which I felt a warm feeling which was confirmation from God that it was right for me. I know that Heavenly Father lives and He loves each of us no matter what and to me that is great, to think that even people who are not members are loved as well makes me understand that we are all children of God and loved equally. I love the gospel and I want others to find this joy for themselves.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and I enjoy listening to the words shared by many different members. I also attend church activities and read the bible and book of Mormon which help me to learn and understand more about the church.
