Hi I'm Sadie

I am a pianist and a violinist. I love to wake-board, play board games and card games. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third oldest in a family of eight. I grew up being home-schooled. I am currently going to college. I am a pianist and a violinist. I love listening to music especially the 70's and 80's music. I love to work outside with my family, especially when we rake up the leaves that fall from our trees in the fall.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church my entire life, but having the knowledge that this church was true was a process for me. I never had an epiphany moment about knowing that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was true. I gained a testimony of this church slowly by having little things happen throughout my life. the experiences that I have had have piled up to a knowledge of the truthfulness of this church. My testimony in this church has influenced the decisions I have made throughout my life. Also my testimony has helped me through hard times. Knowing that Christ is there and that he cares about me, and that he has felt my burdens and knows exactly what I am going through. Knowing that I can turn to him in any situation has helped me through my trials. I know that this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and that he translated the Book of Mormon through the power and authority of God. I know that Jesus is the Christ, and that through his atonement we can all return to our Father in Heaven. I know that President Monson is the current prophet today, and that he receives revelation from our Heavenly Father for us today. I know these things to be true and say it in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Young Woman's program I had the opportunity to play my violin in a live nativity story. I taught the 3-4 year old children for several months, and let me just say that there is a reason the Christ wants us to be as a little child. They are so full of love and curiosity. They are very special, and I loved being able to teach them about how they are children of God, and he loves them. I am currently serving in my ward as the visiting teacher coordinator, which means I make sure that all the women in the ward have been able to check up on and teach one another. I have been apart of many community cleaning projects, and helped with the other members of my ward with a neighboring town that was flooding.
