Hi I'm Wanda

I am a Mormon. My husband full filled an 18 month mission in Armenia in 2003 - 2004

About Me

I have 6 children and 27 grand children, and 7 great grand children. I love to make quilts and I have made many stick horses for my many grand children and great grand children. We love our family very much.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I watched my Dad who is a convert gain a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and my mother who had to learn step by step that it was true. I always knew in my heart that it is true. I have ask my Heavenly Father if the Book of Mormon is true and He has let me now that it is and goes hand in hand with the bible

How I live my faith

We like to help in our community and have done so by helping with local voting and in our church we have done many things . I have 4 women whom I visit, with a companion each month and in between if they are in need of help. My calling right now in the church is working in our Family History Center. Leaning and helping others with their genealogy.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Wanda
Jesus Christ was baptized by immersion as told us in Mark 16:16; 3 Nephi 11;21 that we should be baptized also by someone holding Gods priesthood. They have to have the right authority to perform this ordinance. We have to be baptized when we join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This is a covenant that we renew weekly to accept Christ and live his commandments. This can only be done by someone with the right authority which is Gods authority. Show more Show less
