Hi I'm Isabella White

I'm a missionary in the Missouri Independence Mission. I love to dance and play the piano. I love laughing and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Mid-West and moved to Utah as a teenager. I have been dancing since I could walk. I love doing all kinds of dance; ballet, tap, modern, folk, etc. I hope to one day become a dance teacher at my family dance studio. I was working on getting a college degree when I decided to serve a full-time mission for the Church. I have lots of sisters and one cute little brother. The Lord definitely has blessed me with funny siblings and inspired parents. My mom taught me how to play the piano and ever since I haven't been able to stop! I've started writing religious music since I've been on my mission. Music is one way that draws me close to my Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS home with parents that love the gospel and serve the Lord. They instilled in me at a very young age the importance of scripture study and prayer. It wasn't always fun getting up early to read the scriptures as a family before starting the school day, but looking back it really gave me the foundation I needed to make decisions about my life and to live the way the Lord wants me to. I don't have a big 'wow' moment when I knew this was right, my story is one of little day-to-day experiences that confirmed my faith along the way. Heavenly Father knows His children and knows what they need to make it through this life and for me, line upon line is what I have needed. Serving the Lord as a full-time missionary is one of the most satisfying and fulfilling experiences I have had and has played an important part in my conversion. People ask me all the time how I know it's true. Honestly, as I have continued to study the scriptures, attend church, keep the commandments, and sincerely ask God for the truth, I have felt His Spirit bear witness to my heart that this of Him and is true. I have felt His guiding hand in my life. This is where He wants me. I know He cares about all of us and doesn't want us to ever be confused about what is right or which way to go. I know this is His church and His gospel and that through His Son, Jesus Christ, we can become more than we ever could be on our own. That's what it's all about, becoming and helping others become.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving as a missionary. All day every day I tell people that God loves them and has a plan for them and through a modern prophet, He has restored the truth about His plan. I get to see first hand people change their lives around to be more in harmony with the teachings of Jesus Christ. Seeing the joy that brings into their lives brings me that same joy and happiness.
