Hi I'm Audrey

I am studying to become a dietitian. I am serving as a missionary in the Florida Jacksonville area. I love the Lord. I am a Mormon

About Me

I love the Gospel, my Heavenly Father, and our Savior Jesus Christ. I love to write and read stories, to sketch, being active, being outdoors, going to the gym, cooking and eating, and having discussions with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I am studying to become an dietitian and personal trainer, getting my Bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University-Idaho in Exercise Physiology. However, for the next 18 months on my life, I am serving in the Florida Jacksonville mission as a full-time sister missionary (leaving Sept 16 2015), speaking English. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true Gospel today, holding the same Priesthood authority that Jesus had during His ministry on earth. I know that we have a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, who speaks with the Lord and is given insights and revelation to guide His chosen people through these troubled days. Anyone willing to accept to live the gospel standards by following the example of Christ are welcome and invited to partake of the Truth. I know that families are forever. I know that God knows and loves me individually and cares about me as His child. I know that He hears and answers my prayers, and understands my struggles and concerns. I know that the scriptures--the Old and New Testaments, The Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, Doctrine & Covenants, as well as the other standard works of the Church are inspired by God.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom was introduced to the church when I was 3, and her two and a half years later, she was baptized. Soon after I turned 6, my family moved to Utah to be closer to the temple and the elderly couple who brought my mother to the knowledge of the church. Now we live in California, with the temple still nearby. I am a very logical though emotionally person, and I seek to know the truth of all things. Gradually, through my life, I have studied the scriptures, conference talks, and because of this, I've grown to know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the one True Church. I have never doubted the truth of this gospel, nor the teachings and guidance of the church leaders, including the current prophet of the church, President Thomas S. Monson. He is a wonderful man, who speaks to God and gives us the Lord's personal counsel. I fervently listen to general conference talks and read articles in the Church magazines which church officials write about important doctrines and principles. I know that this church is the true Church of Christ, and I know that He is our Savior and Redeemer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by praying, reading my scriptures, and attending church and the temple. I try my best to fulfill my callings in the church. I am serving as a missionary, preaching the Gospel and truth to the people in the Florida Jackson mission. I am keeping my deeds and thoughts clean and pure, and striving every day to be like Jesus Christ.
