Hi I'm Kymmber

California girl. Nature lover, pasta eater, and volleyball enthusiast. Called to serve in Tallahassee, FL. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm working towards a degree in political science & work two jobs, but I love having fun in between. Any time I can spend on the beach or in the mountains is time well spent. My family is my world. I'm a total bookworm, and pay way too much attention to details.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When I turned 8 years old, it was emphasized to me that I did not HAVE to be baptized. If I didn't think it was right, no one was going to make me do it. At that tender age, I prayed very earnestly to my Heavenly Father. I never had a bright light come to me, or a strong voice saying "DO IT!" I simply felt happy and calm, sitting in the dark by my bed. Since then I have come to recognize the Spirit more and more. I have had many many questions, about the church, about the gospel, about the Bible, about the Book of Mormon. Yet I always find an answer. My testimony has grown immensely, and I know that it shall continue to grow as I keep God's commandments and strive to be like Christ every day of my life!

How I live my faith

As a teenager, I was always involved in youth leadership for church. It was amazing! Working with the adult leaders to plan and organize activities that were uplifting and spiritual helped me to gain a better insight in teamwork. Seeing everyone socializing and having fun was the best reward! I also play the piano and lead music for church. "The song of the heart is a prayer unto me" is one of the most accurate scriptures I've read. Church activities/meetings are the highlight of my week!

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Absolutely not! We believe that we are all children of God. Why would we ever turn our backs to our fellow brothers and sisters? God loves us all...we should also love all. Serving others is the truest form of love. Show more Show less
