Hi I'm Leah

I am absolutely, positively in love with life. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

So I'm Leah! I am nineteen. I left school a couple years back. I have worked in retail and customer relations and will be sure to be doing much bigger things when I return from my mission in the China Hong Kong Mission! I love the outdoors and anything active. I love my family and friends. And I love to people watch...

Why I am a Mormon

Well there is an infinite number of reasons why I am a Mormon. It's the best. The Book of Mormon for a start. If people actually wanted to find out truths about life's purpose, existence and future, if they had a genuine desire and read the Book of Mormon they would know. It's just the initial making that effort to read. Because it is a kinda big book. But its worth it. I mean I would say I have an excellent skill at distinguishing the bad from the good, what is a load of rubbish and whats true. And every word on those 531 pages is accuracy as far as the sun in the sky and beyond. To believe in God and angels is more plausible than to believe that any man could make up such a complex, balanced (long) book with such wisdom and knowledge. Joseph Smith was a chosen man who sought the answers and received them, just like we can. And then when you recognise this book contains the pure word of the same Creator that made you, you will know that everything else in this church that goes with it is true. Even putting aside the things I have felt, heard, seen, read, ignoring the spiritual side of things for a minute, how can a church go from 6 humble members to over 15,000,000. Something must be right. Over 88,000 missionaries around the world trying to open the minds of others to see the truth. There is physical evidence of the places, people in the Book of Mormon. So many prophecy's that are leaders have shared with us that have come to pass. It makes me happy. It makes me kind, humble, compassionate, tolerant. It teaches me to love everyone, and never to judge. It is not restrictive, but gives me freedom. I am a Mormon because the church is true. And I could never ever deny that.

How I live my faith

I love to go to church every Sunday. It's like a family. I currently teach a young class of primary children whom I love so much. They teach me as much as I teach them, and they demonstrate the innate love and affection everyone is initially born with as they learn the gospel. I live my faith everyday by striving to be a better person. Because isn't that what we all should be doing, righhhhtttt??
