Hi I'm Amy

I love art. I am called as missionary to serve in the Baltic Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love creating. When I tackle art projects I am very meticulous. I like to really ponder each direction I could take, and choose the best one. When I am devoted to any project, I work very hard. Even though I am very methodical, I can also be very spontaneous. I like being random in my day to day life. I love discovering. I am the only girl of 4 kids in my family. I've spent most of my life in New Hampshire, and I am wicked proud to be from New England. Recently my family moved to Utah. This transition has not been easy, but I know that I can find happiness wherever I go. This past June I graduated from high school and I am waiting to begin my service as a missionary in the Baltic Mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I was privileged to be born into this church. From an early age I knew my purpose and direction. Even though I was raised in this gospel, there comes a point in EVERY member's life where he or she has to choose to pursue in the religion. Each person must know for themselves. I know without a doubt that this is Christ's gospel restored to the earth. I know this because I have prayed sincerely and I have tested it out. I cannot deny the confirmation of truth that I received.

How I live my faith

Throughout my teenage years I proactively participated in church. I helped with youth activities and service projects. I served as a leader to fellow members my age. I spoke in Sacrament whenever asked and I participated in weekly classes. I tried to take advantage of everything that the church offered. I did so because I loved atmosphere these things provided. It was a shield from the overwhelming influences of immoral behavior in my high school. In my day to day life I seek to improve my relationship with Christ. Personal prayer and scripture study are crucial in my efforts. I pray ALL the time for EVERYTHING. I love knowing that I can communicate openly with my Father in Heaven and I love knowing that He listens. I am in no way perfect. I make stupid decisions and I could definitely improve certain virtues (....patience). However, because of prayer and scripture study, Christ is an anchor in my life. I understand the Atonement more and it allows me to progress and better myself.
