Hi I'm Jillian

I love to sing. I love to serve. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a senior in High School. I'm interested in baking, singing, and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because I have learned for myself that it is true. I know that my Savior loves me, that he lived and died for me. I know that through His Atonement I can return home to the comfort of my Big Brother's embrace. His love has sustained me through the most difficult moments of my life and the image of His outstretched arms has encouraged me to live as He would have me live. My testimony did not come easily, nor does a testimony ever. It came through many trials, which I have come to realize were blessings in disguise. It has come as a result of earnest prayer and relentless study, but these efforts were worth it. Through all of this I have earned the most meaningful and comforting thing that I have--a testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that the doctrine and principles are true, that my Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ know me by name, and that they weep with me in times of struggle, and smile with me in times of joy. They are interested in the smallest aspects of our life, in every thought and feeling that we have. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, and restored the pure gospel of Christ. I know that God speaks to our minds and our hearts through the Holy Ghost, and it is through this revelation that I know for myself that all of these things are true. If you have not learned of these things for yourself, please do not be discouraged. Testimonies don't come quickly or easily most of the time, but the effort to gain one is worth it because of the end result. God has promised "Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened" --Matthew 7:7-8. It is because of the everlasting joy, light, love, and peace that the gospel brings to my life, that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it with others, by setting and keeping high standards for myself, and by standing in holy places. I follow the counsel of my prophets, leaders and teachers. I live my faith through service. I try to help my brothers and sisters in God as best as I can.
