Hi I'm Hamilton Bretherton

I'm a hockey player from Southern California going to BYU: I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Southern California, did a year of school at BYU, and am currently serving in Benin Cotonou (West Africa) speaking French. My hobbies include playing hockey, paddleboarding, and swatting mosquitoes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, in which I find to be very fortunate. I've realized the choices that I had been making all of my life were being made for a reason. Also, from what I've learned about where we came from and where we are going after this life has brought peace and purpose to my life. Simply, I'm a Mormon because I want to return to live with my Heavenly Father and my family after all is said and done.

How I live my faith

I love this Church because it is a church of action. We are taught to be disciples of Christ by acting on our beliefs and helping others. Right now, I have the opportunity to spread that gospel amongst strangers, often giving small acts of service, trying to follow the Savior's teachings.
