Hi I'm Mandy

I am a student. I am a dietitian in training. I am a pianist. I am a friend. I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dietetics student at BYU. I believe in eating healthy, and I also believe in chocolate. I want to become a dietitian and help people optimize their lives through what they eat. I love dancing and singing and playing the piano. I have two wonderful parents whom I love dearly, and a little brother (who's really bigger than me now; he'll hug me, pick me up and carry me around) who's my best pal. Harry Potter is my childhood, and I love watching Doctor Who. I love ducks. I can be having the worst day, see a duck on campus, and be so happy.

Why I am a Mormon

Everything I am is because of my Savior Jesus Christ. Without Him, I am nothing. With Him, I can do anything. Every good thing in my life is a blessing resulting from my membership in the church. My confidence, my happiness, my work ethic, my desire to help others...every good thing about myself is because of my membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This gospel gives me joy.

How I live my faith

I love going to church each Sunday because it gives me an opportunity to reflect on my week and remember my Savior. I try to do things to remember my Savior every day as well, by reading the scriptures and praying. I had the amazing opportunity to work as an Especially For Youth (EFY) counselor last summer, where I got to teach and learn with some amazing youth in the church. The biggest way that I live my faith is serving those around me. That's the purpose of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints: to lift and support each other.
