Hi I'm Taylor Nielsen

I love languages, I grew up in the U.S. of A., and I am a Mormon!

About Me

Hey! My name is Taylor, and I enjoy a lot of things. I'm a very athletic and "outdoorsy" person, so that's what I like to do with my friends! I'm always up for an adventure, and I try to make the absolute best of every situation. I'm also that guy who's just awkward sometimes... I can't help it!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, I never had any of the major faith strengthening experiences that many of my my friends have had. I always thought that meant that I was not a "good enough Mormon." As I started to prepare for my Church Mission, I quickly realized that I have been blessed far beyond what I thought as I grew up earlier. I know what I know, and I know that I love it, because I have fought for it, and have seen the blessings that it has brought into my life. I have definitely made mistakes in my life, but as I have grown up in this Church, I know that following Christ shall bring me peace and the knowledge that perfection is not in this life, it is in the next. I know that with an eternal perspective, all will be well. I have a strong testimony of this Gospel, and know that through Christ, all can be made perfect, and all will be happy. I love that word. I love to make others happy, and the Gospel does just that. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am on a mission for the church! I have been called to preach the word of God to the people in Sweden for the next two years of my life, and am loving he time that I've spent out here so far! Before my mission, I was one of the older youth in my ward, so I was the example for them, you could say. I am so glad that I could be a good example to them because it strengthened my testimony so much as I helped them. I also have a strong testimony of the Atonement, and of why Christ really died for me, and why He died for all of us. This gospel has brought me so much joy, knowing that I, like all of us can repent, and come even closer to Christ.
