Hi I'm Saulo

I'm Brazilian. I love art. And I'm a mormon!

About Me

I'm 20 years old. Since I was a little boy I've enjoyed music, movies, and video games. Which I consider art, by the way. Any form of art attracts me. My hobbies include: playing acoustic guitar, practicing digital painting, watching TV series. I enjoy any activity that demands me to be creative too.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised with the Church doctrine. When I was 15 I had the opportunity to read and study better The Book of Mormon - Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Once I've finished it, I had a strong feeling that the book's content was true. Later in life I had other sacred experiences that have only increased that impression and today I know that I couldn't be in a better place. I've also learned that being a mormon requires a little more than going to church at Sundays, it is a constant commitment to strive to become a better human being. This is something that I really love.

How I live my faith

Inside our faith we believe in serving. That's why I'll mostly talk about how I tried to help in the past. In my unit I've served in a lot of ways, since I was twelve. At that time my responsabilities included: to take care of myself and the others boys around my age (I was also supervised by an adult, don't worry) and to make sure our classrooms were clean and organized. Recently - around two years ago, until now - I've been serving as a Ward Secretary. A work which I learnt to love, where I took care of the administrative work, and the registers, and also made an effort to be always available to help our leaders. Now I'm about to serve as a Missionary of the Church.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

We believe that the family is the central unit of society. That is the place where we'll find our biggest joy and happiness in life. We also believe that there are things which can be only taught in our home. And that it can be a place of rest, teachings, and love. We make an effort to make our families more united, strong and happy. What motivate us to do this is the knowledge that one day we will return to the presence of God, our Father and Creator, with our families to be united eternally. Show more Show less
