Hi I'm Manda

I grew up in Magna. Graduated from Cyprus High School. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with three siblings and many pets. I love to laugh and be happy. I am attending college currently and living away from home. I love my family more than anything, even food.

Why I am a Mormon

If you were to read my name off a list or meet me in a crowded room, chances are you would not remember me. I do not have any spectacular traits or distinguishing features that set me apart. This is actually part of the reason why I am a Mormon. Although I have never had any big humanitarian accomplishments, helped change the world for better in a major way, or even had really good grades; I know that there is a Heavenly Father who loves me individually. He is aware of all of my flaws and accomplishments and is proud of me. He sees the best traits that I have hidden and helps to bring them out. He will never forget my name or see me as just another member of his church. He sees the little things I do that seem insignificant to the world, like being kind or helping someone carry a box; and he is proud of those things. He does not forget or overlook the accomplishments I have made even if they seem silly or trivial. He loves me as much as anyone else in the world even though I may not be as intelligent as some or the best example. He is there for me no matter how small or inconsequential my trails may be. He knows exactly who I am and wants me to come home to him. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith simply and happily. I attend church weekly and pray all the time. I try to read the scriptures daily and attend institute. I love the Lord so I follow the commandments he has set and serve other people. I am not always perfect so I make sure to repent for my mistakes. I try to stay as close to Him as I can so when I am having a bad day I will watch an uplifting YouTube video or read a talk given from the leaders of the church.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Family is a huge part of this gospel. When you get married and become a family you get sealed in the temple to your spouse and your children get sealed to you. This is so you can be together with your family forever. Its pretty cool not to have "till death do you part" because you will get to be together forever. Show more Show less
