Hi I'm Curt

I am from Brighton Michigan. I work in the Hardwood Flooring trade. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to kayak on the Lake where i live. I am an Eagle Scout and a member of the NRA. I enjoy serving others in any capacity and i like to make people smile. I am about to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the southwestern United States.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be Mormon because it is the best way in which i can find answers to my questions, whether it be which school to go to, what job offers to accept, whether to serve a mission, or what friends to choose who will uplift me. It simply makes every part of my life better. Alma, a prophet from The Book of Mormon said these words "And now, my son, I have told you this that ye may learn wisdom, that ye may learn of me that there is no other way or means whereby man can be saved, only in and through Christ. Behold, he is the life and the light of the world. Behold, he is the word of truth and righteousness." Through Jesus Christ we can truly be forgiven of any past transgression, and overcome any obstacles of life including physical, mental or spiritual roadblocks. The Book of Mormon and The Bible are testaments of Jesus Christ and His divinity. These two books have helped me receive blessings and knowledge that would otherwise be impossible. They teach hand in hand, as the Lord meant for them to. I know that being a Mormon isn't always the socially cool thing to do. But it is the morally cool thing to be. I have true confidence in life knowing that i have the Lord's army to back me up whenever i show faith in the face of the world's unsettling behaviors.

How I live my faith

I have spent the last two years as a primary teacher in my church. I taught the 5 and 6 year old kids. I enjoy teaching them truth and letting them know that they are children of a loving Heavenly Father, as is everyone else on the earth. I have found friends of all ages in church. Through all those i have met at church, i have gained work experience, school tutoring, and true friends that have helped my family in times of great stress.
