Hi I'm Drew

I'm a easy going, happy guy. I love basketball, fishing, and being with friends and family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second of three boys in my home. Being the middle child is the best! My parents practiced their parenting on my older brother so I wasn't their guinea pig; I'm not the youngest so I'm not the last to do everything. I was born in Idaho but moved to Utah when I was very young. My family is very close and we spend a lot of time together. Our favorite thing to do together is laugh. We have created all kinds of games in an effort to "out humor" the next guy. I just graduated from high school where I took seminary and ran track. I play recreational basketball whenever I have the chance! I am an Eagle Scout. One of my favorite things about scouting was the campouts. I had the best leaders and friends there.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I know who I am, why I am here, and what I can become. I love the peace that the gospel brings! I know that my Heavenly Father lives and that he loves me and has provided a way, through His son Jesus Christ, for me to return to Him. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints helps me find direction and hope even in the hardest struggles that I have. I have ADD. When I was in 9th grade I decided that I didn't want to take medication to control it for my entire life. I knew that my Heavenly Father and Savior could help me do this. Through a lot of work, self discipline and faith I was able to learn to manage my ADD. This has increase my understanding that I am a son of God and that he can help me overcome my struggles.

How I live my faith

If I were to use one word to describe me, I would say chill-laxed! One of the reasons why I am that way is because of my faith. I know that the Lord has a plan for me and as I do what is right and work hard, He will guild and direct my path. I have been blessed with a gift to see the good in people and can make most feel comfortable. I try hard to treat others as the Savior, Jesus Christ would. He loves all of us no matter what our shortcomings are or what we look like. I live my faith in my thoughts, words, and actions. I try to constantly ask myself, "What would my Savior want me to do". My faith helps me answer that question and know how to proceed.
