Hi I'm Stacy

I'm a college football fan at heart, a lover of things that go bang,Thai food and concerts under the night sky. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have spent the last 7 years working at HP. I graduated from college in Political Science which pretty much has nothing to do with what I do for a living. I love to travel and have Russia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, Canada and Mexico under my belt. My goal is to see all the countries along the Mediterranean Sea along with Prague, Paris, London, and Istanbul. I am divorced with no children and am back in the dating and single world which is not a great place to be when you are in your mid-thirties. I can't wait for the day when I have a family that I will be able to laugh with and love.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always known that Jesus is the Christ. It's a knowledge that I know my Father sent down with me when I came to this earth. I was raised a Mormon, but even at the youngest of ages there was a desire that burned with in me that I must share what I know to be true. When I was 8-years-old, I told my primary teachers that I too would serve a mission so I could tell the world about my dear brother and Savior Jesus Christ. I loved him so much then, and I love him still to this day. With all the heartache and sorrow and loss that I have felt in my life, from the time I was 8 until now, life experience has taught me that I can not live a happy life without my Savior as my constant guide and companion. This church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is His church founded on His Principles and His Gospel. It has been since the beginning of everything, before this world was and before we ever came to be. I am a Mormon because I cannot deny the truth that I have found and been witnessed to by the Holy Ghost. That burning that I felt when I was 8 still burns today with the knowledge and power that this is His true church.

How I live my faith

I am a teacher at heart. Something that I knew and loved while serving a mission in Russia. I always try to seek out teaching opportunities. Right now I teach a gospel principles class that covers the basics of our faith. We talk much about the plan of happiness that our Heavenly Father prepared for us along with the things like faith, repentance, baptism and following the example of our Savior in order to receive all the blessings and joy that the gospel has to offer. Along with teaching, I love to serve in my church and in my community. I like to bake treats, make dinner, rake leaves, or do whatever I can to show people that they are loved.
