Hi I'm Leo

I am unemployed at the moment. At age 61 it is hard to find a job as an IT-professional, but I will never give up. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born to good parents as oldest of three boys. Unfortunately my parents divorced when i was 5. My dear mother raised us as a single parent. In my youth I worked hard to finance my education and have had a successful career as a IT-professional. My hobbies include music, local community, outdoor, garden and healthy living.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 11 years old, the missionaries visited our humble home. They gave us a Book of Mormon and challenged us to read it, ponder it and ask our Heavenly Father if it is true. I was reading a lot of books (action books like Tarzan) so reading this exciting book was easy. And after asking several times I got answer to my prayers.

How I live my faith

I try to let my deeds speak louder than my words. I love to go to church every Sunday. Currently I am involved with Church youth program which takes me to their activities every Friday and occasionally camping. Church helps me a lot with my interest in my ancestors and several Family Associations that I belong to. We are blessed to finally have a Temple here in Finland and I go there as often as I can to feel closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, feel presence of Holy Ghost and to help others. Other than the few things I have committed to never do (drink alcohol, smoke, swear, lie etc.), I think I am pretty much just a normal person.
