Hi I'm Jessica

I'm from Utah. I write music and play the french horn. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Utah my whole life. I am the oldest child and have two sisters and one brother. I like to go fishing with my family and play the piano. I recently graduated with a BM degree in Commercial Music where I studied songwriting and composition. Since graduating I have accepted a call to serve a mission in Virginia and I am really excited to serve.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ brings peace, hope, and happiness into my life. This life can be really hard and it's good to believe in something bigger than myself. It's comforting to know that this life is not the end and that through the atonement of Jesus Christ all the trials and unfairness of life will be compensated in the next. It gives my life meaning and purpose.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to do what God wants me to do. Any time I have to make a big decision like where to go to school, what to study, or if I should serve a mission I first research the options and make a decision based on what I learn. Next, I ask Heavenly Father if the decision I made is correct. Then I act on the impressions I receive. When the Lord asks me to fulfill a calling I accept it even if it doesn't seem convenient. I have learned that when I put God first everything else falls into its proper place. When I do what God wants me to do He magnifies my time and abilities so I am able to do the other things I need and want to do.
