Hi I'm Robert

I grew up in Northern California. I am a Husband, Father and Business Owner and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Husband, Father and Business Owner. I have 6 children and one Grand Child. I live with my wife and 3 of my kids in the Los Angeles area. We enjoy spending time together and traveling around our beautiful country and National Parks. I love Photography and golf and helping other people succeed in life. I have been published in 5 books.

Why I am a Mormon

Over 18 years ago I was going through a tough time in my life. I was just getting back to work after a period of unemployment and had lost my Father to cancer. I found the church in the yellow pages after looking for a place to go to church. We went to a local church and when we were there I had the feeling I had come home. I meet with the missionaries and had some good discussions with them. One week later I was baptized. I have had some struggles after some challenges in my personal life where i was inactive in the church for a while. the entire time i was inactive I felt like something was missing. After several years I started going to church again and as time goes on my Testimony of the church continues to grow and get stronger. I am continually grateful to my heavenly father for his answers to my prayers and guidance in what he would have me do with my life.

How I live my faith

While I have been a member of the church I have been an assistant scoutmaster. I loved the time I got to spend with these young men and help them to grow into productive citizens in there community. I have also been in the Elders Quorum Presidency. I feel this is a great responsibility as I have the opportunity to serve other members of the ward and grow in my path to be more like Christ. My faith in Christ has grown since I have been a member of the church. I know God works with me every day to live my life as he would have me live. I feel the membership in the church has truly been a blessing in my life.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

I discovered Mormonism is true through thoughtful prayer and asking God for guidance as to the truthfulness of the church. Show more Show less
