Hi I'm Hailey

I grew up on ranches in Utah, Florida, and Oregon. I love being with my family and outdoors. I love to laugh. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I like to be outside and be active; hiking, running, walking, playing sports, etc. I love to laugh and have fun. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Being with those I care about no matter the activity. I have attended one year of college. I am still trying to decide what I would like to major in. I have spent the last two summers as a day nanny for a family in my neighborhood and have loved getting to enjoy the simple pleasures in life through children. I am amazed at all that my Father in Heaven has blessed me with and continues to bless me with. I have been called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I had the privilege of being born to parents who were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a child I attended church, learned of Christ, and was taught to live righteously. I leaned on my parents’ strong testimonies to support my weak, yet growing testimony. There came a point in my life where I wanted to know for myself whether the Church was true or not. I gradually received my own witness from God to know that this is His true and correct church here on the earth and that it contains the fullness of the gospel. Also, that Christ is the Son of God and that He atoned for the sins of the world. He knows and loves me individually by name. That the Book of Mormon is true and there is a prophet on this earth that receives revelation from God for the Church. That the priesthood is the true Authority of God and it is on the earth today. So Why Am I a Mormon? Because I have received personal revelation from God that this is the true and correct church on the earth and that it contains the fullness of His gospel. I am a Mormon: I know it, I live it, I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live as Jesus Christ would want me to. I love to participate in service activities that help those around me in my community. I attend church on Sunday where I can feel the spirit and learn more about Jesus Christ and His gospel. I have had various church callings ranging from counselors and president of youth girl organizations to teaching the adult women's meeting on Sundays. During the week I enjoy attending institute, which is a religion class held a few times a week. I strive to make choices that are in line with how the Savior lived His life. I try to set a good example for my peers around me. I put forth effort to keep in touch with those I know to show them I care. I strive to be honest in all of my dealings. I also make every effort to keep all of my promises and commitments.
