Hi I'm Ashley

Born and raised in Utah. I love my family. I love to read. Called to serve in Retalhuleu, Guatemala. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of four and my siblings are my best friends in the whole world. I love my dog, Harry Potter, reading and watching movies, running, journaling, and Disneyland. I graduated from Weber State University in 2013 and plan to return to school after serving a mission. I work at a hospital on the women and newborn unit and it's seriously the best job ever! Utah is my home but I love to travel and vacation with my family. Most of all I can't wait to serve my mission in Guatemala!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. There is nothing in this world that makes me happier than living the gospel of Jesus Christ. We all face hard times but it is a comfort to know that He is walking along side me through everything. I know that I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. He knows me and is aware of my needs. He loves me and I love Him. He has blessed me with so much and I know that I have the potential to someday return to live in His presence. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It is given to us as a comfort and a tool to use in our lives today. I know it is through the prophet Joseph smith that the full and living gospel of Jesus Christ was restored to the earth. It is the same gospel and church that was on the earth while Christ lived. I am grateful for Christ's example in my life and I know that through Him, all things are possible!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly striving to follow the example of Jesus Christ. He lead a life of love and service which I try to pattern in my life. I live each day as if the Savior were walking along side me and I know that as I read my scriptures, pray, and serve my family and friends that I am living my faith and becoming more like Him. Living my faith isn't just for Sundays or a small part of my life, it's for every day and my entire life.
