Hi I'm Christian Price

I grew up in Bellevue, WA. Chances are when you're reading this; I'm in Cuernavaca, Mexico serving a LDS mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am 19 years old and recently finished my first year at BYU-Idaho. I am interested in engineering and business and currently enrolled as a mechanical engineer although I am still not quite sure what I want to do. I am the middle child of 5 kids to my loving mom and dad. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister and she is the oldest at 27, going down to 25, 17, and 8 years of age. I will be the first child in my family to serve a mission. I’ll be serving a mission from November 2014- November 2016 in the México Cuernavaca Mission. I took 5 years of Spanish in school but I can’t speak it too well. I also took a year of French because that’s where my dad served his mission in Toulouse, France. I love doing outdoor activities and to play sports of all kinds. Football is my favorite sport and I have played 9 years of it. I also love the water and doing activities and spending time in it and around it as much as I can. I played the piano when I was younger and took a guitar class at high school but not nearly as good at either as I would like to be. I love to help volunteer my time and to help others. I am an Eagle Scout and my project was to help refurbish parts of my old middle school. I am so excited to go and serve the people of Mexico!

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into into a Mormon family, I believe it to be true. My dad is a convert to the church and found out for himself when he was 19 years old. I continue to follow His gospel because I believe it to be true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings every Sunday. I love going to church activities whenever I have the opportunity to do so. I am currently called as a teacher for the Elders Quorum in my home ward and I had that same calling while I was at BYU-Idaho. Although I am not a good public speaker, I love teaching because I learn a lot from it. I try to pray both day and night but being human I sometimes forget, but I always make sure I thank Heavenly Father for the opportunities that he gives me during the day.
