Hi I'm Sean

I'm from Salt Lake City. I love volleyball, tennis, and especially my family. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a father of eight. I like volleyball, tennis, playing chess, and spending time in the outdoors. I like helping others and learning new things.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 16 years old, my grandmother passed away. It was a difficult time for me. I wasn't sure what to think or believe about God. I wanted to know whether I would ever see my grandma again. Someone invited me to read the Book of Mormon. For the first time in my life I gave a full effort to seeking an answer about God and Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon gave me the answer I was looking for. I know that God lives and loves us. He is personally involved in each of our lives and if we are willing to look, we can see His tender mercies all around us. It is through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can be made clean by His grace. By living the doctrine of Christ which is faith, repentance, baptism, the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end, we utilize the atonement in our lives, find strength to forgive, and can receive answers from God. I know that we are meant to return as families and that through the atonement and temple ordinances we can be together forever as families. I have come to this knowledge by reading the Book of Mormon. I have received a witness by revelation through the Spirit that it is the word of God, and it is by the same Spirit that I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, called by Him to restore His church again to the earth. I know that we are led today by living prophets who receive revelation from God and hold keys to direct His work. I know that is by learning and living gospel principles we can have happiness and peace in our lives.

How I live my faith

I am involved with groups in the community that help young people and children receive better education and become self-reliant. I love serving in my church where we learn more about Jesus Christ through the scriptures and by helping each other. We try to teach and live the principles that Jesus taught in our home with our family.
