Hi I'm Nicole Gunnell

I grew up in California and Utah. I received my Associates Degree at age 18. I am currently serving an LDS mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am passionate about sports, singing, dancing and education. I love to read and to learn about new subjects. I finished my Associates Degree when I was eighteen and I loved it. I did a lot of college classes while I was in high school and I have never regretted that choice. After I finished my degree I decided to take two years off of school to serve an LDS mission. I was called to serve in the Rancho Cucamonga, California mission. It has been a blessing and I have loved ever second of it. Even the hard parts. When I return home from my mission I will continue on in my schooling to be a paramedic, a nurse, and eventually a specialist in either neurology or cardiology. I also hope to be married and start a family latter on in life.

Why I am a Mormon

Some think that since I was born into the church I had no choice but to be Mormon but, I did. I chose to stay in the church. I had my doubts just like everybody else but, in the end I came to the knowledge that the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God, and that Jesus is the Christ. I know this is true just as I know that the sun will rise in the morning. I am grateful for the church. I wouldn't be who I am today without the it. I invite all who wonder to do as James directs to "ask of God" if these things are true. I promise that if you ask with a sincere heart and real intent, you will come to know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my life and faith by being as much like Christ as I possibly can. What I mean by this is simply being a good person. By following God's commandments and keeping my promises to follow those commandments. I have taught a Sunday school class for the eight year old children that come to our church building. I have organized a neighborhood wide donation for the Salvation Army. I have participated in many service activities and humanitarian aid.
