Hi I'm Preston Higgins

I grew up in Southern California, I love working with electronics. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy working with electronics, computers, or any technologies we have been blessed with in these latter days. I fill my spare time with spending time with those dear to me, watching movies, solving puzzles, programming, or trying out new experiences. I spent a year in college before being called to serve Our Lord in a full-time mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Though being raised from birth in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, as a teenager I began to fall away from the church and though I attended church I did not live the gospel principles and therefore did not receive the blessing available to me. I soon stopped attending church and began to live in sin, these were the most difficult and least happiest times of my life. After many years of continuing the live this way my loving father and step mother, concerned for my happiness and my chosen path, sat me down and inquired of my plans for my close future. It was then and there that I had realized the full consequences for my many years of incorrect actions, I saw clearly my unhappiness and the results of my lack ambitions. I know that is was through constant prayer of my family on my behalf that the spirit then testified to me the path I must take to gain happiness again. Through the power of the atonement and repentance, I was able to turn my life around begin to reap the blessings of living a life of obedience, and being to feel joy in my life. As i continue to live obediently and seek to understand our Heavenly Father's plan, I become more joyful and see His hand more constantly in my life. I testify of the truthfulness of this gospel, I know that as we live obediently we gain the many blessings our Heavenly Father has in store for us. I know that this is the truest of all the churches established on this earth.

How I live my faith

While attending a church school I had the opportunity to serve as a home teacher, it was my duty to take one day out of the month to prepare and teach a short lesson to my assigned homes as well as to assist them within my abilities. During my service I learned to feel the love of Christ for others and to have a sincere concern for those in their time of need. I also served as an assistant secretary for the Bishop, this was a wonderful opportunity full of learning and growth, there I had the responsibility to help manage the bishop's time and keep relevant documents to his responsibilities organized and easily accessible to the bishop.
