Hi I'm Brielle

I grew up in Colorado, U.S.A. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student, studying psychology. I like playing the piano and singing. I enjoy reading fantasy novels, listening to alternative music, and watching movies. Basketball and volleyball are my favorite sports. I love hiking and camping in the mountains. I believe everything is better when it is raining: hiking in the rain, playing basketball in the rain, spinning in the rain.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have always been members of the Church. That being said, I have found out for myself that it is true, and chosen to stay a member because I know it is right. I am not perfect; I am just doing my best to do what is right. I know that being a member of this Church brings me peace and happiness in my life. College is difficult. At this point in my life, there is a lot going on, and I have a lot of decisions to make to figure out what I want to do in the future. But in this crazy time, I know that God loves me. I have prayed to Him, and read the scriptures – both The Book of Mormon and The Bible. In doing these, I have felt peace and comfort and hope when I have felt lost, lonely, or afraid. My church teaches what the purpose of life is, and what will happen after. In a time when it is so easy to get discouraged, I have hope of a bright future because I understand this plan.

How I live my faith

I go to church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, every Sunday. I do fun activities with the other members of my ward. I have been a Sunday School teacher, and am currently helping people to understand more about my faith. In college, people have varying moral standards. As I interact with others, I try to follow the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and stand for what I believe.
